What ships, as it ships

Every improvement to AI Photo Combiner, newest first — new tools, pricing changes, and the platform work behind them.

  1. AI Image Generator

Create original images from a text prompt with a model picker, aspect ratio, resolution, and batch controls.

    Added
    • A dedicated AI Image Generator workbench with a latest-generation view and a generator-only recent gallery.
    • Generator requests now use the same credits, task pipeline, model registry, storage, and refunds as the combiner.
    Changed
    • Task history can be filtered by tool so generator and combiner results stay in their own galleries.
    Fixed
    • Repeated submissions with the same idempotency key no longer reserve credits twice.
  2. Admin user access management

Administrators can now edit user details and disable accounts without touching the database.

    Added
    • An edit dialog for display name, username, role, and account status in the admin Users directory.
    • Disabled accounts immediately lose their active sessions and cannot sign in again until re-enabled.
    Changed
    • The Users directory now shows disabled accounts clearly and can filter by account status.
  3. Generation management

Manage image generations in one place: a private history for users and a cross-user ledger for admins.

    Added
    • A My generations page with status filters, prompt search, full-size previews, downloads, re-runs with the original settings, and delete.
    • An admin Generations page listing every image job across all owners, with credits, outputs, cancel, and delete.
    Changed
    • Each generation now stores the settings it was submitted with, so re-running one reproduces the same request.
    • Cancel and delete actions refund the reserved credits and remove the stored images they produced.
    Fixed
    • Filtering stored files by owner returned every owner's files when the owner list was given without a search term.
  4. FAQ moves to the home page

The questions we hear most now sit on the landing page, and support went back to plain email.

    Changed
    • The FAQ is now a section on the home page; the header and footer link straight to it.
    • Support is handled over email, so every question gets a personal reply.
    Removed
    • The standalone FAQ and Contact pages.
  5. Admin file management

Admins can now see what is stored and clean it up, alongside a sync of the upstream starter template.

    Added
    • An admin Files page for listing, inspecting, and deleting stored objects.
    • Integration tests covering file admin, plan admin, and the credit ledger.
    Changed
    • Synced the upstream starter template to its latest revision.
    Fixed
    • Seeded credit entitlements stay editable, and price deletion is guarded.
  6. Billing moves to Waffo Pancake

One provider now handles checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and webhooks.

    Changed
    • Checkout, subscription, and webhook handling moved to the Waffo Pancake provider.
    • Admin navigation moved into a responsive sidebar.
    Removed
    • The Creem SDK integration.
  7. Google-only sign-in

One account type, one sign-in path — no separate password screen.

    Changed
    • Sign-in now happens in a dialog instead of redirecting to a login page.
    • Separate sign-up and sign-in copy collapsed into a single welcome flow.
    Removed
    • Email and password authentication.
  8. Per-model pricing and model management

Models are configured and priced from the admin console instead of code.

    Added
    • A model service runtime with pluggable provider adapters.
    • Admin pages for managing models and tools.
    • Multiplier-based pricing per model.
    Changed
    • Model metadata and adapter parameters are editable from the admin console.
  9. AI Photo Combiner goes live

Upload two photos, describe the scene, get one combined image.

    Added
    • The AI Photo Combiner: two uploads and one plain-language prompt.
    • A credit ledger with free daily credits and automatic refunds when a merge fails.
    • Private object storage scoped to the signed-in account for every result.
    • A home page with how-it-works, examples, and pricing.
